Do you remember the Clint Eastwood Movie "The Good, The Bad & The Ugly"?
Do you remember the old Navy Black Powder Revolvers that they shot modern cartridges out of??
Did you know there was more truth to that than fiction.
Check this link out, these are modern revolvers that look just like those old Civil War black powder revolvers.

Its all about the truth, that was the way a lot of the revolvers were because of the patent laws. Colt and Remington could not build there revolvers with bored through cylinders. You could get them converted to bored through for cartridges... You can still buy cartridge conversions cylinders for many ball and cap revolvers today. These are neat but pricy...... cowboy57/Doug

I can't seem to get away from Clint Eastwood for some reason In the Movie Dirty Harry carried a S&W .44 Mag and I was told it was a 29-3 with an 8 3/8 inch barrel, I didn't know for sure if that was true however I got one. It looks Brand New and I plan on using it come deer Season, I sighted it in at 40-yards because I have a Marlin .44 Rifle for further shots. It doesn't "Kick" very badly however it is quite a bit louder than my rifle.

years ago I had a 12ga re-loader and somebody wanted me to re-load some Black Powder shells for their very old double 12.
I use to have a Navy 36cal black powder revolver and thought it was allot of fun.
