Friday the 9th I got off work, came home, packed my trunk with some cloths, rain-suit and my PFD. Hopped on my Silver Wing powersports.honda.com/2013/silver-wing-abs.aspx and headed for Monroe Reservoir, Took HWY 29 South to HWY 421 to 465 West at INDY, driving around 465 at rush hour is not a pleasant task, it was rather windy but I managed to make it to HWY 37 to Bloomington where I caught HWY 46 to 446 and then to the campground. I had some friends there who put me up for the weekend, They were experiencing some problems with their boat and had to take it to a local marina. About 12-noon on Saturday the boat was fixed and we hit the water, staying in the Idle zone we found a delightful cove and instantly started catching fish. White Bass, Yellow Bass, Large Mouth Bass, crappie, Bluegill & Channel Catfish. We fished for about 4 hours, filled our live-well and headed back to camp. I filet the fish while my friends fixed supper, we sat around the camp-fire and told stories .... then it started to rain and rain some more, it rained all night and after a great breakfast Sunday morning we looked at a weather map and saw a small gap in the storms SO I thanked my friends for a FANTASTIC weekend and I took off >>>> 446 to 46 to 37 to 39 and I took HWY 39 all the way to DELPHY, jogged through the county all the way home. Not a bad ride for a little Scooter, made it down & back 296 miles (round trip) on 7 gallons of gas, averaged 60-mph. What did you do ?
