Just got back from a fishing expedition at Norway Dam in Monticello, Indiana. Rode my 600 Silver Wing over and back, I made a Velcro strap to carry my rod across my back, putting my PFD and my lures under my seat. Upon arrival at the bridge just below the dam, I noticed two boats in the breaker pool and about two dozen people fishing along the shore line. Traffic was practically non-existent so I stopped to watch what was happening.
After 20 minutes and NOBODY catching anything, I proceeded to the Public access just downstream from the bridge. Locked my bike up, put my garb on and headed to the river. There were three boats anchored along the river bank and the occupants were fishing little eddies with minnows and floats, I cast a verity of baits for Walleye, crappie and White bass and caught NOTHING !!!
I fished for approximately two hours and did not see anyone in the boats catch anything ether, I spoke to a mushroom hunter who read a post on face book saying mushrooms are being found in Norway but a recommended that he should NOT believe everything he reads on Face Book.
It was a little chilly this morning but turned out to be a very beautiful day, It also felt good to get out and wet a line even-though the fish weren't cooperating. *** I know many of you go fishing and catch nothing, its the nature of the sport, SO, If you would ... Please post not only your successes but your failures too ---- it makes good reading
