I would be safe to say, FISH FOR THEM IN LAKES THAT HAVE THEM Fishing from a boat, drift fish with tight lines, two hooks per line, slid sinker tie to, on bottom come up about 8" first hook and about a foot higher for the second hook. Minnows on both. Drift till you catch one, then ancor set slip bobbers just off the bottom jig right off the side of the boat. If you dont get to catching fish pull ancor and drift back across area you picked the first one at. Most times perch is a bottom hugger, shallow or in deeper water. They will hit redwigglers, and night cralwers, but minnows would be my first choice. I have fished minnow on the bottom hook ,then a red wigger on the upper hook. A guy and find gills that way as well, plus pick up crappie as well. Fishing from shore fish slip bobbers and set the stopper to wear the bobber leans over, then set the about 6" up off the bottom. While watching a couple bobbers working out there for you, cast a small jig tipped with beemoths or a small minnow
