Hello, New here and about to turn 62 next year and enjoy life more! I just bought a 1448 jon and have been modifying it the last month as it had nothing done to it. I added lights, batteries, seats, trolling motor, fishfinder and carpet. I will try it out later this month and over the winter will be looking for places next year to fish. I prefer ELECTRIC ONLY that have camping also. My boat is rated at 25HP so I may buy one over the winter.
Any info on electric only lakes appreciated.
Tony

between Shelbyville and Hope (SE of Indy)
I have some info but probably not all lakes. I have been to Vesailes State Park and in Hoosier National, celina, Tipsaw and Indian lakes but have never fished them. I will not goto a lake blind without checking it out first as to HP requirements, camp sites, showers etc.

Hi Tony and welcome aboard, they call me all sorts of names but you can call me Martin May I recommend going to Wall-Mart and buying "The Sportsman's Connection" Indiana Fishing Map Guide .... VOL I & II from their fishing department. This guide will show over 200 lakes in our State and tell you everything you ever wanted to know about them .... size, depth, public accesses, even if it is trolling motor only. Hope this helps.

Have you tried at Camp Atterbury. Is off US 31 at Edingburg. Several small lakes back in there that are electric only. There is also Driftwood State Fishing area about one mile south of Edingburg off US 31. Has three old gravel or sand pits and stocked with muskie.

I did not know about driftwood sam.
Martin, that book sounded familiar so I looked thru some old books of mine. I found that book! Good reading, but does not have info on driftwood.
