Dave, how do you like the .45LC pistol, I have thought about them for many years and yet I cannot seem to get rid of my Mosberg 410 bolt action.
I suppose if I could trade even, I wouldn't mind having ether a double barrel 410 or a Thompson .45LC pistol.
I absolutely love the 410 for small game and I do carry a .22 pistol while rabbit hunting and have become rather good at hitting the wascally wabbits with it.

I saw one of those lever actions in a small gun shop in the Southern part of the State, it had rifled sights on it and the guy said it was for deer hunting and the price was enough to kill me. I've gone to the last couple of 1500 gun shows in Indy and there were hundreds of people bringing in all types of guns to sell but very few of them were actual hunting guns, which I thought was odd. I was telling GILL that I've lost hundreds of acres of rabbit ground due to deaths of the owners and the property changing hands, deer hunters "Renting" the ground and not wanting me disturbing them. In years past I've told my children, when they ask what I want for Christmas, Birthday or anniversary ... just buy me one box (of 25) number #6 shot 410 shells..... This way I don't feel bad paying that high price and my children feel good that actually bought me something they know I'll use.
