Do you remember that creek we went up your first time out in your new yak??
Drive by it and see if its muddy or clear ... if its clear, drive up-stream and see if you can find an access to it two or three miles away and we will float it. (need two trucks) I have been told there are some good holes on that stream.
If its muddy then we will have to try somewhere else.
I'll put my thinking cap on.

Skipper, here is an idea for you to toss around, there is a little 15 acre lake over in carroll county " knop lake" the dnr killed this place off 5-6 years ago and restocked it. I have not fished there since before they restocked it, would be a good little place to take the yaks if you're up to it. If you want to hit that place, you can come over to my place and we'll throw yaks in my truck and we'll go there. let me know what ya think; gill

I've fished Knop Lake about 30 years ago and caught my limit of Yellow Tailed Razor Backed Looloos and for some reason I have never gone back.
I'm open for just about anything.

Well we went to Knop Lake and of course it was a mud hole, we paddled around in our kayaks trying this and trying that and we caught Nothing. SO, Gill took me to a pond way out in the boondocks ... you know, a place so far out that Deer & Squirrel have got to stop and ask for directions. The water was clear enough to drink with Bass as long as my arm and Bluegill as long as Gills arm (he's just a little guy) Hula-poppers and Yo-zuri pen-minnows seem to do the trick on both species. ... It was a catch and release only pond but we had a really fantastic time. Thank you mark.
