Here it comes folks, but I guess we knew it was coming! Please keep this moving, to everyone in all states. Ammunition Accountability Legislation It has already started... Ammunition Accountability Legislation Remember how they said that they wasn't going to take your guns? Well, it seems that their allies in the anti-gun world have no problem with taking your ammo! The bill that is being pushed in 18 states (including Illinois and Indiana ) requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacture a data base of all ammunition sales. So they will know how much you buy and what calibers. Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless the ammunition is coded... Any privately held uncoded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011. (Including hand loaded ammo.) They will also charge a .05 cent tax on every round so=20 every box of ammo you buy will go up at least $2.50 or more! If they can deprive you of ammo they do not need to take your gun! This legislation is currently pending in 1 8 states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Washington. Send to your friends in these states AND fight to dissolve this BILL!! To find more about the anti-gun group that is sponsoring this legislation and the specific legislation for each state, go to: >>>>> ammunitionaccountability.org/Legislation.htm

Thanks for the Information Charlie, However I know our government says it wants to get rid of Drugs .... we still have a terrible Drug problem They say they want to put an end to poverty ..... there is more poverty today than ever before. They say they want to put people back to work but a move like this will put people out of work.
Do they really think that everyone in this great country of ours is going to blindly destroy their old ammunition??

I feel that this legislation is just the tip of the anti firearms iceberg that is heading the way of the firearms owner. Befor this anti firearms administration is done and in the next four years look for a complete outlawing of most firearms and hand loading. Which will mean the confiscation of firearms from the honest citizen. Since Australia did this their crime percentage has increased. Their cry about jobs and getting Americans working is just a smoke screen to implement more and more socialist agenda.
How do you feel about bailing California out of their 2 billion dollar debt. That is going to create a lot of jobs. How about the 400 million to NASA, lots of jobs there too.

See that makes no seance at all, If the president wants people to keep their jobs then why would he try to destroy a malty billion dollar industry. How many people would be effected throughout the United States in one way or another.

These people are so anti firearms that they don't care about job. Their agenda is to disarm the American public. They call it anti crime but if you look you will see that crime has risen drastically in countries that have disarmed their citizens. Look at Australia, crime has risen by about 25 to 30 percent. They just changed it from murder and rape to home break in with murder and rape in their own home break in category. They still have murder and rape and regular armed robbery too. There are bills right now that if passed will make the sale of firearms with threaded barrels illegal. Got a shot gun with multi chokes. Yup its covered. Got a shotgun with a pistol grip, you got it. How about barrel diameter. it's in there. 1/2 inch. You say your shot gun is a 16 or 20, it still over 1/2 inch. Illegal.
